​Meetings and Minutes

Our meetings are organised and conducted in line with a set of established rules called "Standing Orders"

Our "Ordinary" Council Meetings  take place on the second Wednesday of every other month at 7:30pm at Sedgwick Village Hall in January, March, May, July, September & November

In May, our meeting is the "Annual" Council Meeting and includes the election of chair and vice-chair for the next year and an annual review of policies and procedures

These are meetings are not "Public Meetings" but "meetings held in public". 

Agendas are published on the Village Noticeboard and this website at least 3 days before each meeting and include a section for "public participation" in which the public, normally residents, can comment on agenda items and raise issues

Our Annual Parish Meeting is held in March and is a Public Meeting. 

It takes place in Sedgwick Village Hall.

It is an opportunity for the Council to report on their work during the previous year, discuss important current issues and take the opportunity to gather views and ideas of our residents, to help shape our future actions. 

We also invite village organisations to present annual reports to residents.
